The Hounslow Children and Young People’s Forum (CYPF) consists of a range of voluntary and community organisations that have an interest in children and young people’s services in Hounslow. The CYPF is facilitated by CVS Hounslow and the work of the Forum is supported by Sagal Jama, Networks Development Officer.
Aims of the Forum:
- To provide a forum for VCS groups to exchange information, share ideas and good practice and discuss the issues affecting groups
- To enable VCS representatives attending local key statutory partnership meetings to feed back to the wider children and young people’s voluntary sector
- To ensure that the voluntary sector have a voice in the policy, planning and delivery of children and young people’s services
- To provide a joint response to local initiatives, agreed by members and to take forward recommendations arising from the Forum to the decision-making processes of statutory services.
