Voluntary Sector Children’s and Young People’s Forum
The Hounslow Children and Young People’s Forum (CYPF) consists of a range of voluntary and community organisations that have an interest in children’s and young people’s services in Hounslow. The CYPF is facilitated by CVS Hounslow.
Aims of the Forum:
- To provide a forum for VCS groups to exchange information, share ideas and good practice and discuss the issues affecting groups
- To enable VCS representatives attending local key statutory partnership meetings to feed back to the wider children and young people’s voluntary sector
- To ensure that the voluntary sector have a voice in the policy, planning and delivery of children and young people’s services
- To provide a joint response to local initiatives, agreed by members and to take forward recommendations arising from the Forum to the decision-making processes of statutory services.
