West London Sustained Employment Programme Networking Database

The database will detail organisations’ specialist delivery areas, beneficiary groups and the West London boroughs that they operate in. It is important to note that the database may develop as additional organisations become members of the network so it advisable to check the database frequently for any changes.

Training

Following the success of our recent training session on Introducing Commissioning for VCS Groups 15th Sep ‘09, we will be running more sessions in the new year to follow.  Materials from the session can be found below.  These are powerpoint presentations and are read only (cannot be modified).  Permissions to use these for other events can be sought from us in writing.

1.Caroline Rouse – Aston Mansfield – introduction to commissioning with an exercise and tendering checklist links, examining whether it is for your organisation.

2.Mary Crawford – LB Hounslow – discussing LB Hounslow’s approach to commissioning local VCS services, in keeping with current procurement laws.

3.Tebbussum Rashid – BTEG – a case study look at a partnership forming to secure key contracts from NHS Barnet through development of common purpose.

4.Clare Nazerali – CVS Hounslow – an overview from our very own Groups Development Officer on PQASSO as a quality assurance system and how it can be used to prime groups / organisations tendering for commissioned services.  For support on using PQASSO for your own group / organisation, please contact Clare Nazerali, who is a qualified PQASSO mentor and free to guide you through quality assurance attainment.

The Commissioning Toolkit for the commissioning agenda is complete in a basic form.  We will be working to update this for the context of Hounslow Borough in the coming weeks.
