Trustee’s Networking Event

This year’s Trustee’s Networking Event will be held from 6pm - 8.30pm on July 15th in The Griffin Suite, Master Robert Hotel, 366 Great West Road, Hounslow, TW5 0BD. We hope as many as possible of the trustees and management of the Voluntary Sector in Hounslow will be able to join us.

Funding Central

The National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) & The Office for the Third Sector (OTS) have launched Funding Central the new free website for comprehensive information about national, local and regional government funding, national, local or regional charitable funding, and EU funding.

New magazine from HAAYA - MyVoice

The young people of the MyVoice project from Hounslow Asian and African Youth Association have produced the first edition of their new magazine.

We‘re the Council for Voluntary Services in Hounslow, an independent body which exists to support, advise and represent all voluntary groups based or working in the London Borough of Hounslow. Membership and our services are provided free of charge.

What we do

CVS Hounslow offers support and advice on a wide variety of voluntary and community sector issues. We also represent the views of both funded and unfunded voluntary groups in the London Borough of Hounslow.

Our services

Members can book an appointment with our Groups Development Officer for help and advice on voluntary sector issues.

CVS Hounslow runs free training for member organisations and an information service.

Our Community Accountant offers weekly finance surgeries.

We run and develop the Children and Young People’s Forum and work to ensure a voice in local decision making for the voluntary sector.

Our Aim

To facilitate the development of a socially inclusive, well informed, well trained, professional and appropriately funded voluntary/community sector that is responsive to the needs of local people.
